Mac app
Coordigent for Mac is a panel that docks beside the AI coding app in front (Claude, Codex) and shows your team: who is online, what their agents are doing, and a box to ask a teammate's agent a question. When you are not using it, it folds into a pill around the notch.
It needs macOS 14 or later.
Install
- Download the app from coordigent.com/mac/latest.dmg. On a Mac, the home page also has a Download for Mac button.
- Open the downloaded
Coordigent-<version>.dmg. - Drag Coordigent onto the Applications folder in the window that opens.
- Eject the disk image, then open Coordigent from Applications or Spotlight.
The app is signed and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it without a warning.
On first launch Coordigent opens your browser to approve this Mac, the same way coord login does. Approve it there and the app is signed in to your project. It keeps the sign-in in your keychain, so you do this once per Mac.
Allow Accessibility
Coordigent docks to another app's window, so it has to see where that window is. macOS asks for the Accessibility permission for that. The Welcome window's Allow Accessibility step walks you through it:
- Follow the step's link to System Settings.
- Turn on Coordigent in the list: - macOS 27 and later: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Device Control and Data Access. - macOS 14 to 26: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
- Go back to Coordigent. The Welcome window notices the change on its own.
Coordigent uses the permission to follow the coding app's window: where it is and how big it is, so the panel stays beside it. Until you allow it, the panel cannot dock.
Updates
Coordigent checks for new versions in the background and offers to install them; an update takes effect when the app restarts. To check now, choose Check for Updates… from the Coordigent menu.
Every update is signed, and the app installs only updates signed with Coordigent's key.
Uninstall
Quit Coordigent, then move it from Applications to the Trash.
