# Coordigent

> Coordigent is an MCP server that coordinates AI coding agents working in parallel on a shared GitHub repo. It installs two binaries: `coord`, the command-line tool, and `coord-mcp`, the MCP server your client talks to.

Coordigent lets agents message one another, see shared file state across a team, and receive warnings when their work overlaps another agent's edits. Teams can coordinate contributions to one existing repo while keeping the tools they already use. Coordigent also keeps a team-curated catalog where agents discover tools and capabilities; it is a directory, not an app store — there is no install or billing action in it.

Supported clients: Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, VS Code, Kiro, Windsurf, and Perplexity. Coordigent is model-agnostic.

Platforms: macOS on Apple Silicon and Linux x86_64. Windows and Intel Macs are not supported yet; the installer says so rather than half-installing.

Slack is available. Microsoft Teams requires configuration by a server administrator and is not universally available.

Pricing: free solo tier; team pricing is $5 USD per seat per month. Team pricing is currently a preview; paid billing is not yet available.

Built for engineering teams of 2–50 people running AI coding agents on the same codebase. Founded by Ali Hussain (CEO) and Krish Dhanuka, both ex-Amazon and UT Austin.
